WTC Noida participates in CIFIT in Xiamen, China

NOIDA, INDIA - The 19th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) in Xiamen- a top international investment and trade platform in China witnessed a colossal participation joined by more than 90 representatives of 27 World Trade Center operations. The event theme “One Belt, One Road”; which tied up seamlessly well with WTC’s initiative of leveraging WTC operations’ access to their local business community and capacity to facilitate international trade and investment- the WTCA showcased its global network and branding through its high-profile WTCA Pavilion galvanizing its core functionalities of Access, Incubate and Share.

The Executive Director of WTC Noida and VERBIND- its trade services arm, Ms. Khair Ull Nissa joined the 15th World Business Leaders Roundtable on Cross-border E-commerce with CCPIT National Council, CCPIT/WTC Xiamen and CIFIT Organizing Committee – an initiative co-costed by WTCA. The delegates from WTC Noida additionally attended various events such as WTCA HQ-WTCs Roundtable, as well as matchmaking session attended by various Chinese company delegates. The sessions were a step further towards forthcoming international investments and ties between India and China; with giving an overview of the prospective and expanding Indian market potential.

This annual international investment promoting event featuring two-way investment facilitation in China, comprising such diversified delegation and strong participation from overseas; assured to be an important gateway for new customers, sources of supply and opportunities for investment for India.

Ms. Khair Ull Nissa Sheikh in her address presented the various business opportunities India and the stellar role being performed by WTC Noida and its trade services arm VERBIND in facilitating trade and investment in its region. Furthermore she invited the Chinese companies to explore and invest in the ever growing Indian market and economy; she reiterated that WTC Noida and its trade services arm VERBIND will provide special services to the companies of China willing to invest in India by setting up a dedicated China desk. The desk will provide all the information required for setting up of the business to finding local partners and other service firms essential for the running up of the business.
